Working with students at Key Stage 3 / 4.
I have developed, led and constructed projects with students in secondary education. This has usually involved working with a particular year group and resulted in a permanent (or semi-permanent) site specific work for the school. These photographs show a response to a given space, available budget, pupils needs and a desired aesthetic outcome for the school. Because a three dimensional art work can be constructed from components it is often a good way to involve a reasonable number of people and capitalise on their different talents. Projects inevitably overlap curriculum areas, enhance drawing and making skills, frequently involve technology, history and social science and help bond participants together in a common goal. Students target their creativity towards a real world outcome that enhances both their local environment and the profile of the school. Prices will vary from school to school. Fees indicated here cover the total cost of design, workshops, materials and construction of the finished work in these locations. Designing and making art with others is hard work but I think it's great fun. If you think I can help you create something special in your school then please get in touch. Send an email, include your telephone number, and I will call you.
